The dramatic landscape of Markarfljótsaurar, south Iceland.

The signs of the 2010 eruption of Eyjafjallajökull are clearly visible in the alluvional plain Markarfljótsaurar, shaken by several terrific floods (jokulhlaup) coming from the glacier, partially melted by the heat of the eruption.
